At this time, the servers will be taken offline and all players will be logged out. So be careful not to be in a dangerous area and lose your equipment due to the maintenance.

There’s no update from the developers yet regarding the missing vehicles, but some Sietches (sub-servers) currently appear to be unavailable.

Complaints about missing vehicles after the patch are accumulating. The developers are currently investigating the cause.

On Discord, players are complaining that the North American region servers will have their daily restart in a few minutes. Why this was not postponed today is unclear. Otherwise, there are isolated complaints about startup difficulties, but no widespread reports of issues affecting many players simultaneously.

Fixed an issue that prevented players from traveling back from Arrakeen and Harko Village (Error P83).
Fixed an issue that caused disconnects when traveling between server borders in the Deep Desert.

The server maintenance is officially supposed to end in about 15 minutes. However, there’s still no sign of the update or the patch notes. We’re staying on it and will let you know as soon as they’re here, or at the latest by 11:30 AM CEST.

Still no new news from the developers. On Discord, the discussion has now reached the point where Dune: Awakening can’t be an MMO because there’s no fishing… We’ll check back at 11:00 AM.

So far, there’s no new information from the developers. However, the Dune: Awakening Discord server is currently being flooded by players who were caught off guard by the server maintenance. Many are complaining they didn’t receive an in-game notification. We’ll check back at 10:40 AM to see if there’s any news then.

The server maintenance is happening right during primetime in Australia, starting at 6:00 PM. This is particularly frustrating because these are the very players who were most affected by issues yesterday, regularly receiving the “P34” error message. As a result, players are currently venting their frustration on X.com.

Welcome to our live ticker for the maintenance work of Dune: Awakening. The developers will take the servers offline at 10:00 AM CEST to implement a hotfix. The servers are expected to go live again 90 minutes later at 11:30 AM CEST. The exact patch notes are also expected by then.
How long is the server maintenance expected to last? The developers announced in a post on Discord that the maintenance work is expected to last 90 minutes. The servers should accordingly be back online at 11:30 AM German time.
Why are the servers being taken offline? The servers in Dune: Awakening are being taken offline for maintenance. The reason is problems with the game servers, which have existed since the patch yesterday. The hotfix is intended to fix these issues.
Two main issues are in focus:
- Players lose their connection to the server when traveling between the servers in the deep desert
- Players can no longer return from Arrakeen and Harko Village and receive the error P83
It is not yet known whether other issues such as server stability or crashes will be fixed.
