Erythrite Crystal are one of the most important resources in Dune: Awakening. MeinMMO tells you where you can best farm the crystals.
Where can I find Erythrite Crystals? The crystals occur underground, so it’s best to farm them in the depths of Hagga Rift. Grab a vehicle or aircraft with inventory expansion and head to the mineral extraction facilities located on the intermediate levels of the gorge.
Fortunately, you can recognize Erythrite from a considerable distance by its red crystals. For extraction, you need at least a Cutteray Type 2. Higher Cutteray levels can improve your extraction efficiency, but aren’t necessary.
Cobalt paste in large quantities
What do I need Erythrite for? You can process the collected Erythrite into cobalt paste at a chemical refinery. You’ll need this resource for numerous recipes like building sand bikes, buggies, and ornithopters, as well as for tools or equipment parts.

What do I need to know about Dune: Awakening? The new survival MMO from Funcom was released on June 10, 2025, for PC and takes you to the desert planet Arrakis. However, you won’t find the familiar storyline from the books or movies here, but rather an alternate timeline in which Paul Atreides was never born.
Hunger, thirst, sun, aggressive enemies – from the first minute, survival is the focus of Dune: Awakening. By continuously crafting better tools, equipment, bases, vehicles, and weapons, you ease your daily life, allowing you to focus more on exploring the game world, mastering dungeons, or experiencing the story.
In large parts of the game world, you can encounter up to 39 other players at most. Exceptions are the two faction capitals and the deep desert, a vast endgame area where PvP is active almost everywhere and changes drastically every week due to a storm.
