What kind of glitch is this? Through the discovered error, Guardians can apply the same modification of the new artifacts twice on a single piece of armor. This means the effect of certain mods is not simply doubled but even multiplied.
However, players need completely unmodified armor pieces for the same armor slot they want to modify twice through the glitch. This leads to truly powerful possibilities:
Is it worth the effort? Builds with double mods can deal devastating damage and can be even stronger than some crazy builds with the artifact already are. However, this still exploits a presumed error.
Bungie will likely eliminate this possibility in the near future. Therefore, relying too heavily on it is not advisable. However, for those who have difficulty in the new raid and do not want to cheat with grenades, this might make it easier for them at least for now.
Furthermore, we recommend not using the glitch at least for PvP, as it can lead to penalties such as game bans, which are hardly worth the short fun.
Artifacts and their Mods in Destiny 2
This is why the artifact becomes even stronger: As is common in many cases in Destiny, the effects of certain mods are not simply applied twice but multiply with each other. Particularly strong are, for example:
