DrDisrespect is known for roaming around in various shooters, but also for ranting about all sorts of things. Recently, he criticized Call of Duty: Warzone 2 – but praised Apex Legends for it.
Who is it about? DrDisrespect was for a long time something like the “face of Twitch”, but in 2022 a ban occurred under circumstances that remain unclear to this day.
Instead of Twitch, the “Doc” now delivers content on YouTube and has become one of the largest streamers on the platform there.
The streamer is mainly active in the world of shooters and even has his own shooter in development. However, the Doc is often seen playing Call of Duty – but that has recently become the subject of his anger.
DrDisrespect criticizes Warzone 2, seeks an alternative, but nothing fits quite right
This is what DrDisrespect says about Warzone 2: The streamer has been criticizing the new Warzone for some time. Already a few days ago, portals like Dexerto and Gamerant reported on the streamer’s frustration and his search for an alternative. In a now private video (via YouTube), which we could still see before, DrDisrespect and streamer colleague TimTheTatman discuss.
TimTheTatman asks the Doc how long he would give the game before he stops playing it. “I think I’ll give it another week, maybe two,” says DrDisrespect, but then confronts a problem: “At the same time, I think: What the hell am I supposed to play then? PUBG?”
The Doc can’t agree with that either. He loves Call of Duty and wants to play it, get a few good plays, but it is one-dimensional and boring.
Then he half-heartedly suggests that he could become a full-time Valorant player, which TimTheTatman comments on with a laugh. The suggestions of Fortnite or Overwatch from his streamer colleague are also met with some confusion from the Doc.

Which shooter does he praise? Unusually praising words were reserved by the Doc for Respawn’s shooter Apex Legends. In a more recent stream on January 16 with teammate “Zlaner”, both discuss again their view of the difficult state of Warzone 2.0, before Zlaner brings up Apex as a possible alternative. He describes it as “really a good game” (via YouTube).
That gets the Doc excited; he agrees and says: “I really have to say, this is the hardest shooter game I’ve ever played,” adding: “Very good players play this game.” Then both briefly discuss that they could attack again there – before they refocus on their Warzone match.
With the criticism of Warzone 2.0, the streamers are currently not alone. Recently, there have been increasingly critical voices suggesting that some players also find the game boring.
