Capcom opens new servers for Dragons Dogma Online – will the market expansion eventually lead to the West?
Taiwan gets its own DDO servers
Dragon’s Dogma Online is currently only playable in Japan. At a press conference, Capcom announced that DDO will also be launched in Taiwan. However, some time must pass before this becomes a reality. A release is planned for 2017, directly for PC and PlayStation 4. Other titles are already being localized, such as Monster Hunter Explore (mobile game) and Breath of Fire 6 (mobile and PC).

It is also interesting that there was briefly talk about Monster Hunter Online. For this title, they want to wait and see how interest in Taiwan develops before making any decisions.
The outlook for releases in Europe looks bleak in the meantime. However, it is generally a good sign when games slowly spread across borders – this definitely increases the chance that we will also get to enjoy the titles.
