In Dragons Dogma 2 you can unlock the Illusionist, but not right away. We will show you everything about the Trickster and how you can activate this class.
How do I unlock the Illusionist? To unlock the Illusionist, you must first follow the main quest until you find the checkpoint “Rest Town”. From there, you need to cross a barricade and proceed further into the rocky area heading south.
If you continue along the road, you will eventually reach the location “Enoa’Battahl Forest”. Now take the next small country road heading east until you discover a shrine. This shrine is called “Reverent Shrine” and houses an old lady in ghost form. Speaking to the woman known as “Luz” will teach you the new class.
Now you just need to go to a class guild, spend 200 discipline points, and you can then equip the class.
For better visualization, we have marked the shrine on the map:

What can the Illusionist do? The Illusionist is not a direct fighter but rather a support role in the party. His incense does little damage but can deceive enemies, leading them to their doom.
Imaginary platforms and walls can also be created by the Trickster to let enemies jump to their deaths thanks to a ghost projection.
If you also want to explore unknown territory, you can create a “ghost” that can scout the surroundings and spot dangers within a large radius. The Trickster is a creative class that can provide variety.
How do I switch my class? In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can actively change your path in your existing save file. Simply use one of the class guilds that are located in taverns and other towns. Sometimes it is necessary to spend discipline points to unlock a new class.
