In Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can complete the quest “The Bell to Rest” to gain gold, a key, and access to a weapon. How to start the quest and what you need to do is explained here.
How do I start the quest? To start the quest “The Bell to Rest”, you need to meet Oskar at the location marked by us (at the bottom of the map). The location is northeast of the city of Rest. Follow the large road west until you reach a fork, from there take the northern route.
Once you’ve reached the target location, you need to help Oskar out of trouble. He will be attacked by monsters that you need to defeat. Once you’ve done that, you can speak to the gentleman. He will ask you for a favor. He needs a strong escort to ring a bell.
What do I need to do? The good Oskar wants you to escort him to the Cenotaph. If you agree, you will have to embark on a small march with him. However, on your journey, you will have to fight annoying enemies who want to hinder your trip.
Defeat the pests and follow Oskar to the fortress. More enemies await you. Once you have defeated them, you will eventually reach a room with a book and a bell. Here, your journey ends. Oskar will thank you and reward you – thus the quest ends.
What rewards are there? Oskar will reward you for your efforts with the key to the Old Battlefield, as well as 9,000 gold. You can use the key to open a door in the corridor you passed through earlier. Behind the door is the spear “Hellish Ridge” and a travel stone.
What should I keep in mind? On your journey, Oskar could die if you don’t take good care of him. So it’s good to have a Lazarus Stone with you to continue your journey.
