In Dragon’s Dogma 2 there is a class that reminds players of the villain Darth Maul. We at MeinMMO will tell you how to unlock it.
In Dragon’s Dogma 2, many classes from the predecessor of 2012 have been retained. But of course, there are also some new playstyles that can be unlocked in the sequel, including the class of the Mystic Blade. This career has a peculiarity: it resembles one of the most popular villains from the Star Wars universe, Darth Maul.
Why does the class remind of Darth Maul? The class is characterized by two specific features that can quickly lead to the comparison with the beloved rogue from Star Wars: On the one hand, this class uses a dual spear, which could remind one of Darth Maul’s double-bladed lightsaber.
On the other hand, you can also use magic with this class, for example, to stun enemies or throw objects at them telekinetically, just like in Star Wars.
The Mystic Blade is not available from the start – Here’s how to find Sigurd
Here’s how to unlock the class: To unlock the class in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to follow several steps. First, complete the initial main missions of the game, which are supposed to familiarize you with the characters and the game world.
After that, you will meet Brant at night, in the tavern of the town of Vernworth. During the day, the officer is elsewhere. He will give you at least one of three available quests, one of which is the “Monster Hunt.”
Completing one of these quests is required to continue with the unlocking of the Mystic Blade and to follow your path to Melve.

In Melve, you will then meet Sigurd, an NPC who will tell you more about the Mystic Blade. After that, you need to survive a dragon attack in Melve until the beast retreats. Then talk to Sigurd before he leaves the town to unlock the class.
What can you do if you missed Sigurd? Alternatively, you can also find Sigurd later in his house in the village of Harve, in case you missed him in Melve. Just talk to him to unlock the class retroactively.

It is not necessary to kill the dragon to unlock the class, but this can provide additional rewards, including a powerful weapon for the Mystic Blade.
In addition to the Mystic Blade class, there are of course many other classes in Dragon’s Dogma 2. An overview of all available classes can be found here:
