In the open world of Dragon’s Dogma 2, players encounter seemingly insurmountable obstacles. One player has used a strong move that allowed him to jump off a cliff without dying.
High cliffs and deep waters sometimes prompt players to find alternative routes to reach their destination in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Some circumvent the obstacles, while others use giant enemies as bridges.
A player presented on X (formerly Twitter) on March 27th, showcasing his approach and impressing the community. Thanks to his class as a magic archer, he has access to a strong move, for which he must briefly sacrifice a companion.

How did he do that? The player shows in his video how he grabs his companion and throws her over a high cliff. Of course, she dies from the impact on the ground. However, thanks to his magic archer class, the player can revive her with a magical arrow (“Recovery Arrow”).
Once she is back on her feet, the player jumps off the high cliff – and safely lands in her arms. The companion comments, “Good thing I was standing here, right?”

This is what the community has to say: The video has so far gathered around 10,000 likes and over 785,000 views (as of March 28th, 6 PM). One user writes that he discovered it as soon as he unlocked the magic archer. But he feels guilty when he does this to his companions.
Someone comments, “The smartest thing I’ve seen so far” and another user writes, “Such a great game. I haven’t played anything else since it was released.” Other users seem surprised and ask, “They catch you???”
The pawns possess quite useful abilities and thus support players not only in combat. However, they also gossip like real humans and tell others about your secrets.
How do I unlock the class? The class as a magic archer is only available to the Awakened and cannot be used for pawns. The archer shoots from a safe distance with magical arrows to deal damage or heal companions.
