Finding Wilhelmina’s Romance and Following the Questline
How do I win over Wilhelmina? To win over Wilhelmina, only one quest is necessary: “No Rose Without Thorns.” To start it, you must go to the “Rose Chateau,” the brothel next to the castle of Vernworth. On the first floor after a long corridor, Wilhelmina is in a room with a balcony. You now need to talk to her and give her gifts that she likes. Flowers are perfectly sufficient for her.
Eavesdrop on Wilhelmina and Allard
Wait for a day to pass and return to her. You will be informed that she is busy with a customer and has no time for you. Go to her room with the balcony and look for a round picture on the wall. This picture has a peephole, through which you can eavesdrop on Wilhelmina and Allard.
After witnessing the heated discussion between the two characters, Wilhelmina will confess to you that she wants to murder Allard. Now you need to stand by Wilhelmina and help her with her plan. You have three days to provide proof of your loyalty.
Provide Evidence
To provide the evidence, you need to break into Allard’s house, which is located near the brothel. Take the side door and go to the first floor. There, you need to interact with a painting on a table. Now visit Wilhelmina again and support her in her plan.
Complete Romance with Wilhelmina
After your plan succeeds and you escape with your lady, you need to rest for another day and visit her in her chambers. She will thank you with a romantic gesture.
Can I seduce other NPCs? Despite this limited selection, you can still charm other NPCs like merchants by gifting them. They won’t jump into bed with you but can provide benefits such as cheaper prices. This can be especially useful if you’re short on cash, as gold is very scarce in the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2.
When gifting NPCs, you should keep the following in mind:
- Wait at least 24 hours after each gift
- Most NPCs like flowers, so don’t hold back
- Otherwise, vary the gifts to quickly reach a high level
