The streamer, Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm, is surprisingly back on air. On Thursday evening at 10:30 PM German time, his stream on YouTube began. The controversial streamer is making his first appearance since his Twitch ban and after being offline for more than 40 days. On Friday evening at 9 PM, things are set to kick off properly.
This was the announcement: Via Instagram stream, Dr Disrespect announced his return as a news reporter with a distorted voice. This could happen “even today” and his sources are legitimate.
In fact, since 10:30 PM, a live stream is running on his YouTube channel (1.84 million subscribers):
- Currently, over 295,000 people are watching. That’s far more than he last reached on Twitch.
- In June 2020, Dr Disrespect averaged 26,503 viewers on Twitch.
288,000 are waiting for Dr Disrespect on YouTube
This is what can be seen at the moment: Currently, Dr Disrespect’s stream is live (via youtube). However, the Doctor himself has not arrived in the Champion’s Club yet. Instead, you can only see his Lambo in front of a virtual gas station, which still needs to refuel.

In the background, some nasty remarks are already being made. For instance, Dr Disrespect referenced his friend shroud’s “scooter” accident. He apparently still finds it hilarious that shroud was out and about on a “scooter,” crashed, and broke his arm.
Dr Disrespect is also making some pre-recorded comments as “Johnny Bandini,” likely a type of radio host. The comments lean towards: “No one is still watching Valorant.” This is known to be one of the games with which Dr Disrespect has a controversial relationship.
It seems just a matter of time before Dr Disrespect himself shows up and starts his show. With every minute he keeps viewers waiting, more donations are rolling in via a new button on YouTube, and the viewer count is rising.
Dr Disrespect states: He’s coming back “tomorrow”
Update 6.8. 11:45 PM: It’s just a pre-announcement.
Dr Disrespect has now announced on Twitter that we will really go live “tomorrow”. According to German time, this will then be earliest in the afternoon.
Update 7.8. 3:03 PM: Meanwhile, it is known when Dr Disrespect will go live again. That is today, August 7 at 9 PM. He announced this in the YouTube chat (via twitter).
Dr Disrespect finally starts – 507,078 live viewers
Update 10:02 PM: The stream has finally started. At peak, 507,078 people are watching, according to the live viewer count on YouTube.
The stream began with a statement from Dr Disrespect regarding his Twitch ban.
- He still does not know why he was banned from Twitch.
- He did nothing that would justify this ban, and certainly nothing that would justify such treatment – a ban without communication.
- This is “cockroach behavior.”
- He has a clear conscience.
- It is about a big contract and a lot of money.

How long was he away? Dr Disrespect had his last stream on June 25, 2020. The ban from Twitch without further explanation came on June 26. To this day, it remains unclear why Twitch banned the streaming star after they had given him a multi-million dollar contract months earlier.
He had not been seen for 42 days. Dr Disrespect had previously stated in interviews that he no longer sought an exclusive deal. Dr Disrespect definitely does not want to return to Twitch.
