In Call of Duty: Warzone the controversial streamer Dr Disrespect recently had no fun at all. He was eliminated by players whom he referred to as “jobless idiots with no life.” What exactly upset him so much and what is behind it, you will find out here on MeinMMO.
Who is Dr Disrespect? Behind the choleric macho dude with the porn mustache, mirrored sunglasses, and mullet hair is the person Guy Beahm. He was once a community manager and map designer for Call of Duty.
The “Doc” is an exaggerated character, a toxic macho who behaves like a rowdy and basically insults everything and everyone. With this, he aims to parody and satirize various gamer clichés. Nevertheless, there has been trouble concerning him and his statements and actions before.
So it is also with his latest statements about the player base of CoD Warzone. According to him, it is only jobless idiots with no life.
Doc wants to see new players in the Warzone
What got him so worked up: The Doc was once again in the Warzone, where he wanted to deliver “violence, speed, and momentum” to his enemies in line with his motto.
But that didn’t happen, and the Doc was instead taken out by an opponent, and there was no future for the Doc in the Gulag either.
This got him quite upset because it was a Monday morning, and a certain kind of players are out then. With froth at the mouth, he ranted:
There are literally no new people playing Warzone anymore. It’s really just cockroaches and jobless idiots with no life playing the game. It is so! It is so damn pathetic. Especially on a Monday! There are so many unemployed. They are unemployed on purpose, they are so damn lazy! You know who I’m talking about! They are 42-year-olds still living in their mom’s basement and out of shape. It is pathetic!
What does he mean by that: The big problem for the Doc seems to be that the player base in the Warzone has stagnated in recent months. Those who still play regularly in the Warzone despite the mass exodus of players to other battle royales, like Apex Legends, are fairly experienced within the game.
This means it is a challenge to compete against such players every time. New players would be easy prey for the Doc, and he could take them out with his characteristic play of “violence, speed, and momentum”.
Instead, it seems experienced “sweats” are his typical enemies. Or stream snipers, because the Doc later raged even more and continued to insult his opponents for having nothing better to do than stream sniper him as a poor victim.
Is there still hope for the Doc? Indeed, because the Warzone will soon undergo changes and get a completely new map in the Pacific. It is quite likely that a large number of players will return or newcomers will start playing the Warzone. Then the poor Doc would have enough helpless victims again to boost his ego.
