The controversial and former Twitch streamer Dr. Disrespect owns a high-end gaming PC that he uses for his streams and games.
He first introduced his new gaming PC on Twitter. It is a computer developed together with the boutique manufacturer “DigitalStorm”.
“DigitalStorm” manufactures high-quality and high-priced gaming PCs and also uses some proprietary components, such as the cooling system or casing.
But how much would the gaming PC actually cost? We at MeinMMO have looked into it and calculated the theoretical costs of the gaming PC. The price for the gaming PC is significantly higher than the price an average player would pay for their PC. Because you would have to shell out around 10,000 euros for the PC.
Disrespect’s gaming PC is a boutique PC with high-end hardware
Where does the information come from? Dr. Disrespect himself does not state an official price for the gaming PC.
Instead, one has to take a detour via an official tweet that Dr. Disrespect published at one point. Here, the hardware in detail was presented that is installed in the computer:
Dr Disrespect has since upgraded his build. Instead of two RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards, there is now a GeForce RTX 3090 in his gaming PC (via essentiallyesports.com). But this is not a source that Dr Disrespect has officially confirmed.

How much would the hardware together cost? In total, you would pay 9,114.98 euros for the installed hardware.
Most gamers among you probably won’t need such hardware
That’s why you shouldn’t spend so much money: Very few of you will really need so much high-end hardware. Because with the Ryzen 9 5950X, you already get a current high-end processor from AMD for which you pay significantly less, around 400 euros, than for the Threadripper. For many gamers, AMD’s mid-range processor, the Ryzen 5 5600 (X), is likely sufficient.
Moreover, you theoretically don’t need a GeForce RTX 3090 if you want to game properly: a GeForce RTX 3080 is a recommended graphics card if you want to game in 4K but don’t want to pay a premium for the performance.
256 GB of RAM is way too much for most of you gamers. Many mid-range motherboards also support a maximum of 128 GB. A minimum of 16 GB of RAM is recommended, 32 GB of RAM is currently future-proof. 32 GB is recommended for players who like to multitask, do resource-intensive image processing, or use virtual machines.
