Dr Disrespect is known for his numerous streams in Apex Legends. But now he explains what bothers him about the game. It feels like a demo, according to the streamer.
Why does it feel like a demo? For Dr Disrespect, Apex Legends becomes boring over time. He says that while he currently enjoys the game, it feels like a demo because there aren’t many features yet.
He wishes for new content for the game so it doesn’t feel like a demo anymore. He calls the game an “unfinished product” because there are simply too many things missing for him.
What Dr Disrespect says about the current situation in Apex Legends
This is his statement: Currently, Dr Disrespect is streaming less Apex Legends and is therefore asked why he no longer likes the game. He responds: “It’s a lot of fun, but it feels like an incomplete product. It’s a bit like a demo, that’s how it feels.”
The streamer even explains what would make the game better for him. He says: “I like the demo, but I can’t play the demo for very long. I want the complete package. I want the selection of multiple maps, I want more legends, I want more things to happen in the game.”
Is he turning his back on Apex Legends? The statement about the game is actually positive. He likes it, but he wishes for more content. If more content is offered, he will certainly stream more again.
Is there too little content in the game? It should be noted that Apex Legends was released quite suddenly in February. So there was no demo to play beforehand. Considering that the game has only been on the market for 2 months, the developers are providing players with a lot of content.
At the launch, there were 8 different legends to choose from, which is significantly more options compared to other games and their classes. Most battle royale games have no heroes at all.
Furthermore, it is common in the battle royale genre to have few maps available. Fortnite, for example, has only one map that changes continuously but remains largely the same.
What do you think about Dr Disrespect’s statements? Can you understand him, or is the content of Apex Legends enough for you?
