In Fortnite: Battle Royale, you fight alone or in a team with up to 3 teammates against all others. The longer you survive and the better you perform, the more experience points you receive after each round.
These experience points are not just an accessory; they serve a tangible purpose in the game.
Leveling is worth it
With these experience points, you level up your season level, which also unlocks points in the Battle Pass.
- There is at least one Battle Pass point per season level.
- For season levels ending in 5, you receive 5 Battle Pass points.
- For season levels ending in 0, you even get 10 points in the Battle Pass.
- For every 10 points in the Battle Pass, you level up and receive goodies like skins and emotes.
This extensive grind for further levels and Battle Pass points is particularly worthwhile this weekend.
Double XP until the weekend!
With the Update v3.5.2, not only did the revamped 50vs50 mode and the new gun of the light machine gun come to Fortnite: Battle Royale, but you now also receive double the amount of experience points for all actions in a round. The double experience points event lasts until Sunday, April 22, 2018.
So if you still need a few levels in the Battle Pass, you should really enjoy yourself in Fortnite until Sunday. With the boost, it should be a bit easier to catch up on any missing Battle Pass levels and to get that coveted final John Wick skin at level 100.
