For the upcoming shooter Doom, the graphics options for PC have been announced.
The Windows PC version of Doom will offer a variety of graphics options. Not only will the FPS lock of Doom be removed on PC, but an image format of 21:9 is also expected to be supported, allowing for a wide field of view.
Graphics Options for Doom on PC
As Chief Technical Officer Robert Duffy confirms, PC players will be able to tweak their experience in Doom thanks to numerous graphics settings, benefiting from the diverse options available. Many settings were not accessible to players during the open beta, but id Software considers them just as important as the demanding PC gaming community. Duffy said:
PC gaming is in our DNA here at id.
Therefore, they will also love to tinker with the settings to achieve the desired experience – as far as the PC’s performance allows.

Doom will be released on May 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
