If you have always wanted to roam the night as a vampire, you can now check out a demo of the vampire MMO Dogma: Eternal Night.
The development of the MMO Dogma: Eternal Night has not gone well so far. The developers have repeatedly reported financial problems. They even lacked the money for server equipment. Nevertheless, the team held on to the vision of wanting to create a vampire MMO in the spirit of the discontinued World of Darkness. And they prove to the fans that this can be implemented through a demo.
A little demo to get you in the mood
However, the demo offers only a very limited game. In principle, it is just the character editor. You can create a character for the MMO – also in a very limited way – and save it. This way, you can later load this character and get started when there is more of the game to see. Due to the financial situation of the team, the server is a bit weak. Only 100 players can log in at the same time.
First game areas coming next year
All those who have access to the alpha can use the demo. You can purchase this on the official website. In this way, you support the team and ensure that a little more money is available for the development of the MMO. The team is currently working on the first game areas, some of which are expected to be completed in spring and integrated into the game. Then you can walk around the city with your hero. After that, interactions between the game areas will be implemented. Ultimately, a version of the MMO that is fun to play should be available in 2017.
Of course, the team would love to hear your opinion on Dogma: Eternal Night and looks forward to any feedback.
