The German Computer Game Award is just around the corner, and in the pre-show on April 7, you can ask your questions about the event directly to the organizers and moderators. Stop by!
Here’s what it’s about: The German Computer Game Award has been awarded annually since 2009. In 2021, the DCP returns as a digital event now with its own pre-show. The moderators cosplayer and streamer Leslie alias “Farbenfuchs” and Michael Obermeier are not only focusing on the games but especially on what interests you about the DCP.
The pre-show for the German Computer Game Award starts on April 7 and will revolve around your questions. Michi and Farbenfuchs will answer your questions about the event and present the nominated games of the DCP 2021.
In the livestream, they will not only bring you closer to the DCP, explain its function, structure, and jury work but also give viewers in the livestream the opportunity to ask their questions about the award directly to the organizers. The following are:
- Felix Falk, the managing director of game Bundesverband
- the jury chair Prof. Odile Limpach
- co-moderator Uke Bosse
What else will there be: Additionally, various German developers will be guests in the stream:
- ION Lands (Cloudpunk)
- Monolith of Minds (Resolutiion)
- Ubisoft Düsseldorf
- Mimimi Productions
- King Art
We will talk to them about the significance of the DCP for their work. Subsequently, some of the developers will compete against each other in the ultimate “studio duel.”
Besides a presentation of the nominated games, the nominees in the category “Player of the Year” will also talk about their favorite games from the past year, including streamer Gnu, author Nina Kiel, and Dennis Winkens from Wheelyworld.de.
