The Open Beta of The Division is currently running. Here are the two most sought-after weapons of this test phase: the High-End Liberator and Pakhan.
The Open Beta is live! Starting at 1 PM today, PC and PS4 players can also participate in the open testing phase of Ubisoft’s upcoming MMO shooter. In the following video from Arekkz, two previously unknown High-End weapons that are available in the Open Beta are showcased. They are arguably the most desired weapons of the moment.
But precisely because these High-End weapons are so coveted, they are difficult to obtain. You can pick them up from the Saferoom vendor if you have the necessary level and cash.
It’s not easy to get the new High-Ends
Liberator and Pakhan cost around 7000 Dark Zone currency, and you must be level 8 and DZ rank 12 to even be able to buy them. The High-End weapons Cassidy and Caduceus from the Closed Beta were significantly cheaper.
Additionally, Ubisoft has made changes to the DZ crates and your rewards if you survive as a Rogue agent: You now only receive 300 DZ currency from the crates instead of the 1000 that was the case in the Closed Beta. It will therefore take significantly longer to earn the High-Ends. If you look at it this way, it has the positive effect that not just any agent is running around with these weapons.
The Assault Rifle Liberator
The High-End weapon Liberator, which is also featured on the title image, comes with these stats:
These are the talents that this weapon possesses:
- Competent: Damage increases by 5% for 10 seconds after you use a skill.
- Dominant: Each kill during an active Signature Skill reduces the cooldown time of your other skills by 3%. This is irrelevant for the Beta, as there are no “Signature Skills”.
- Talented: If you kill a target with this weapon, your Skill Power increases by 3% for 5 seconds. This effect is not stackable. If you eliminate another target, the timer resets.
According to Arekkz, Liberator is a nice weapon that clears out enemy masses effectively. It’s very “nice”.
The Light Machine Gun Pakhan
The most notable feature of this High-End light machine gun is its very large magazine. The “Big Mag” holds 45 rounds. Here are the other stats:
This High-End comes with the following talents:
- Swift: Reloading is 5% faster.
- Destructive: When you use this weapon, the Armor Destruction value increases by 6%.
- Ferocious: Damage against elite enemies and named enemies is increased by 5%.
Arekkz especially praises the very large magazine of the Pakhan, which can even be expanded. This allows you to take down three targets in succession before needing to reload. It’s also a very nice weapon.
If you could only choose one of these weapons, he would still lean towards the Liberator. At medium range, this High-End is outstanding. Of course, it always depends on the player’s style.
