In The Division 2, the content of the Year 1 Pass is known. We present all the information about the Year Pass to you.
This is the Year Pass: If you pre-order special editions of The Division 2, you will receive the Year Pass included. The Gold Edition, for example, only contains a 3-day early access and the Year Pass, compared to the Standard version.
For this, Ubisoft charges an additional €40. Therefore, fans want to know which content justifies the €40.
The Year Pass can also be purchased separately once the game is released.

What’s included in the Year Pass of The Division 2
With the Year 1 Pass, you receive:
- 7 days of early access to all episodes in Year 1: The episodes refer to the 3 DLCs that will be free for all agents. With the Year Pass, you can only play the narrative elements earlier.
- Instant access to all specializations from Year 1 as soon as they are released. There will be more than just the Survivalist, the Demolitionist, and the Sniper – namely 3 more throughout Year 1. All others can unlock the specializations over time.
- 8 Classified Assignments: The Fall of DC: This likely refers to 8 secret tasks or challenges that thematize the fall of D.C. Assignments were the daily and weekly missions in The Division 1 that were displayed in the operations overview starting from character level 30. The ISAC missions were also part of the assignments.
- Exclusive cosmetic items – namely an emote and an outfit.
- Additional in-game activities, namely special bounties (eliminate certain enemies) and special projects (master various tasks in D.C.). You receive one extra project per day and one extra bounty per week.

The Community’s Reaction
The first reactions (as of March 3rd) to the information are predominantly positive:
- One user is very pleased that there will be more than three specializations. Many are already speculating in the comments on reddit about what these could look like.
- Another writes that he was positively surprised by this pass.
- The Redditor ab_c cheers: “I must admit, this is a surprisingly rewarding pass. Good job, marketing team.”
- In general, it is praised that with the pass, you not only acquire early access but that there are additional contents as well.
- However, one also writes critically that he is just waiting for the “Pay2Win” accusations. However, some users respond that one must wait and see how other agents can access the specializations without the Year Pass. What effort they need to undertake to unlock these.
