According to The Telegraph, Johnny Depp was reportedly paid a whopping 68 million US dollars for his role in the 2010 Disney film Alice in Wonderland.
In the adventure and fantasy film directed by Tim Burton, he played the Mad Hatter. While this is a well-known character from the famous literary classic by Lewis Carroll, he is not seen too often in the Disney film.
Johnny Depp only has seven minutes of screentime in his role. Thus, he earned 9.7 million dollars for every minute he is seen in Alice in Wonderland.
