32 new Pokémon for the Sinnoh PokéDex – Gen. 4 List
Now follows the list of the confirmed Pokémon so far. We will continuously update this list for you as soon as more Pokémon are confirmed.
These are the starters from Gen 4:
- Turtwig
- Chimchar
- Prinplup (probably not catchable in the wild)
- Piplup
- Primplup
- Empoleon (probably not catchable in the wild)
- Monferno
- Infernape
- Infernape (probably not catchable in the wild)
Additionally come these further findings from Gen 4:
- Staraptor
- Starling
- Grotle
- Bidoof
- Bibarel
- Shinx
- Luxio
- Luxray
- Froslass
- Pachirisu (possibly only catchable in the northern part of the world)
- Chatot (possibly only catchable in the southern hemisphere)
- Venusaur (possibly only catchable in the south of the USA)
- Riolu (only obtainable from 10 km eggs)
- Lucario (only obtainable by evolving)
- Electrike (only available in raids, can be shiny)
- Luxray (only obtainable by evolving, can be shiny)
- Luxio (only obtainable by evolving, can be shiny)
These Pokémon were added with the Halloween event
- Drifloon (can be shiny)
- Drifblim (can be shiny)
- Skuntank
- Skuntank
- Kryppuk (only obtainable from special research)
- Giratina (only obtainable as a raid boss)
Possibly 3 new regional Pokémon: It seems that there are two new regional Pokémon again. Chatot has only been caught in southern hemispheres so far, and Venusaur has only been caught by trainers in the southern USA. Pachirisu has been caught by trainers across Canada and in the northern part of Russia. So far, it has not been caught anywhere else. It remains to be seen if these assumptions will be confirmed.
No developments from previous generations so far: In Generation 4, some Pokémon are also added that have pre-evolutions in previous generations. So far, these pre-evolutions have not yet been able to be evolved. These Pokémon seem not to be available yet.
New attacks: With Generation 4, new attacks also come into play. How this will change the meta is still unclear.
Gen-4 Pokémon from eggs: Trainers have already confirmed that the new Pokémon also hatch from eggs. A detailed list will follow in the coming days.
