World of Warcraft – Controller via mod
Blizzard’s MMORPG does not offer official support for controllers. However, there is a mod called ConsolePort that allows the use of a gamepad to control the game. This mod is still in beta and not everything is optimized. However, it represents a good approach and provides an interesting alternative for those who want to play WoW with a gamepad.
However, it should be noted that WoW was not developed with controller support in mind, nor is it an official method.
As previously mentioned with Neverwinter, it is generally possible to use a Steam Controller as a control method for every Steam MMO. The control can be customized individually, but the games are not optimized for this, which can lead to problems.
Tools such as Xpadder (link opens new page) can also be used to force controller support in many games. But here too, the games are not designed for this control method, and you should not expect most titles to play well this way.
