New monsters, Shinys, and special Pokémon from Generation 3 can now be found in Pokémon GO. We show you which ones.
The past hours have been particularly exciting for Pokémon GO players. On the evening of January 23, 2018, the developers announced that 23 new Pokémon would appear in the game on the same day. Starting around 10:00 PM German time, trainers discovered the new monsters in the game.
We will show you which new Pokémon are currently in the game and which of them have their Shiny forms available.
New Gen 3 Pokémon from January 23
Diligent trainers caught many monsters in the past hours and presented their results in large communities like TheSilphRoad. From these results, we can now give you an overview of the new monsters that have been active in Pokémon GO since January 23.

New Shiny Monsters of Gen 3
The new wave of 23 Gen 3 monsters also includes a few that appear in their shiny form.
So far, trainers have presented their Stollunior and its developments in shiny form. Whether there are more Shinys in the game will likely be revealed in the next few days – after all, they are rarely encountered and it is possible that some are still hiding.
