In dungeons, players often experience thrilling adventures. For the most dangerous creatures lurk in the dark caves and corridors. One cannot know what lies behind the next dark corner. However, not all dungeons are dark places where no light illuminates the corridors. In Ashes of Creation, for example, you explore the Underrealm, an underground world that even possesses a certain beauty.
An alien world beneath the earth
Illuminated by phosphorescent plants that serve in dungeons of many games to brighten otherwise pitch-black vaults, you explore an underground area that is almost an alien world. Here, mushrooms grow as tall as trees and the strangest creatures crawl in the shadows. The Underrealm will have its own ecosystem.
