What is it? Warframe is a sci-fi lobby shooter where you slice through hordes of enemies as a space ninja. Players collect weapons, mods, and other Warframes. In 2017, Warframe became more of an MMO with an open-world expansion.
What Destiny need does it satisfy? The dynamic movement through the world. Collecting loot and deeply engaging with the character. Additionally, action and coop activities. The social elements are pronounced.
How does Warframe benefit from the Destiny crisis? For many who were disappointed by Bungie and Destiny, Warframe became a promised land. Especially the communication with the developers and the continuous evolution of the game are praised here. The community stands closely together and supports one another, while Destiny seems to fall apart. The crisis with Destiny 2 has certainly helped some new Tennos to thrive.
