The next Diablo 3 patch is coming, as many expected, only after the end of Season 2 and before the start of Season 3. This was at least shared by Wyatt Cheng from Blizzard on Twitter.
Patch 2.2 brings balance
Above all, the new patch is supposed to eliminate some balance issues, so that in Season 3, not only the Barbarians and Demon Hunters compete for the top spots on the leaderboard. The cooldowns of some set bonuses will also be changed, which will likely lead to additional damage. However, how exactly the changes from Patch 2.2 will work will probably only become clear a few days after the start of Season 3. According to Cheng, the patch is scheduled to be released on April 7. Anyone who wants to accelerate in Season 2 should hurry. Because due to the Reaper of Souls anniversary, big bonuses for all players are active.
