Now it is official: The original Diablo 1 is being recreated in Diablo 3. This includes not only music and graphics but also all the main bosses that you know from the original Diablo game. Even Big Red awaits you at the end of the special dungeon, which makes you feel the nostalgia of Diablo 1 on multiple levels. Special features ensure that the recreated Diablo feels almost like the original game.
Music, Graphics, Movement Limitations in the Diablo Remake
The Diablo anniversary was a good reason for the developers to create something very special. With the patch “The Darkening of Tristram”, you will be sent back to the depths of the cathedral. The dungeon has a total of 16 levels and also includes the main bosses from the original up to Big Red at the end of the dungeon. Your adventures will be accompanied by the music that has accompanied you many years ago in Diablo. Special graphic filters are also responsible for the retro pixel look, providing an improved nostalgic feeling.
The developers have also come up with something for the controls. In earlier Diablo times, the current 360° control did not exist yet. Therefore, in the Diablo remake, you will only be able to move in 8 different directions, just like before. If you want to play the remake, you can do so with all your characters. The patch for the Diablo remake will be available on the PTR servers starting next week. As soon as there is an exact date for the patch on the live servers, you will find out from us.
