In Diablo Immortal, there are many names for attributes and effects, but one raises a question for many. Therefore, we will show you what resonance is, how to obtain it, and most importantly, how to increase it.
What is resonance? At the top of your inventory, you can find the value “resonance”. The yellow glowing sphere above your headgear shows you your total equipped amount.
The higher your resonance, the better your equipment’s base attributes will be enhanced. The following attributes benefit from higher resonance:
- Health – Your health points
- Damage – Your damage per attack
High resonance increases your health points but also the damage you deal to enemies.

How do I obtain resonance? To obtain resonance, you need to socket Legendary Gems into your equipment. Only this way can you increase the base attributes of your selected armor. If you remove your Legendary Gems, you will lose your resonance points.

How can I increase my resonance? To increase your resonance, you either need to socket better gems or you can upgrade your existing ones at the jeweler. To upgrade your gems, you need either the same type of gem or gem power.
Is resonance important? If you want to delve deeper into the endgame in Diablo Immortal and want to deal more damage, but also want to have more health points, resonance is an important value to keep an eye on.

Note that you can craft Legendary Gems yourself. This requires rare runes that you can obtain through Elder Portals with emblems.
However, for the highest resonance values, you have to dig deep into your pocket and spend money. When you maximize your resonance values, it even becomes visually apparent on your characters. You will then receive small glowing wings that grow larger the higher your value is.
