The new Diablo Immortal will be released on June 2. We at MeinMMO wanted to know from our readers which classes they will start in the adventure. You voted, and we present the results.
Here’s what it was about: We at MeinMMO asked you which class you will start in Immortal. At the time of the resolution on May 20, 2,128 people participated in the voting.
Together with you, we are now putting together a ranking of the classes you will play from the survey. Spoiler: One class has won the survey by a wide margin.

Place 6 – Monk
- Weapons: Fists and Sword
- Range: Melee
- Votes: 244 (11.47 %)
This is what the Monk can do: The Monk is a holy warrior and master of martial arts. He relies on lightning-fast punches with his fists and offers a lot of mobility. He can jump back and forth between enemies and throw them backward.
His abilities include the Thunder Fists, which allow you to teleport to an enemy and pummel them with multiple strikes.
The Monk is the right choice for you if you want to play a melee fighter who deals a lot of damage but can also take little damage.
Place 5 – Barbarian
- Weapons: Axe, Hammer, and Sword
- Range: Melee
- Votes: 300 (14.10 %)
This is what the Barbarian can do: Barbarians are muscle-bound warriors who stand in the thick of battle with their huge axe. They beat down enemies and can pull them in with abilities like Chain Spear. This makes it easy for wizards to bomb opponents away with AoE.
Their attacks include Lacerate, a hit that deals damage on impact and heals the Barbarian. This is important because in the midst of enemies, you constantly take damage and need to withstand a lot.
If you like to stand in the middle of the action and have no problem getting hit in the face, then the Barbarian is absolutely right for you.
Place 4 – Crusader
- Weapons: Sword, Mace, and Shield
- Range: Melee
- Votes: 322 (15.13 %)
This is what the Crusader can do: Crusaders are holy warriors who rely on both faith and their strong armor. In combat, they use a large blade as well as a shield to block attacks.
Crusaders use their ability Punish for damage but simultaneously increase their block chances. They also have abilities that can make themselves or allies invulnerable.
If you want to play a classic melee fighter with high armor and holy spells, the Crusader is the right choice for you.
Place 3 – Demon Hunter
- Weapon: Crossbow, Bow, and Quiver
- Range: Ranged
- Votes: 329 (15.47 %)
This is what the Demon Hunter can do: Demon Hunters are bitter avengers who have made it their mission to eliminate enemies from sometimes very long distances. They are well-trained and skill-based fighters.
Their main attacks include Crossbow Shot and Explosive Shot. The latter explodes on impact, dealing AoE damage. You also get this from attacks like Vengeance and Multishot.
If you enjoy being a ranged DD, then the Demon Hunter is the right choice for you.
Place 2 – Sorceress
- Weapons: Two-Handed Staff, One-Handed Staff, and Orbs
- Range: Ranged
- Votes: 371 (17.43 %)
This is what the Sorceress can do: Sorceresses rely on arcane power to eliminate enemies. They can be burned to ash or frozen. The elements play an important role here.
Sorceresses can summon huge meteors from the sky or teleport to a completely different position. Their primary attack is a Magic Missile, which in its ultimate form can also slow enemies with frost magic.
If you play a Sorceress, you have a penchant for magic and deal a lot of damage, but you must be careful as they are weak melee fighters.
Place 1 – Necromancer
- Weapons: Scythe, One-Handed Staff, and Shield
- Range: Melee and Ranged
- Votes: 562 (26.42 %)
This is what the Necromancer can do: Necromancers are masters of death and capable of resurrecting defeated enemies as skeletons. They have made it their goal to maintain the balance of the world and therefore take on the strongest foes.
While they throw Bone Spears at enemies with their primary attack, they can also summon Skeleton Mages or rotten Golems from already defeated opponents or cause their corpses to explode in a huge eruption.
If you enjoy having undead by your side and want to support them with abilities and magic, the Necromancer is a great choice.
