Blizzard announced after the end of the Closed Beta for Diablo Immortal what changes will be made based on the collected feedback for the mobile offshoot. This includes varying difficulty levels for bosses. MeinMMO summarizes the most important information for you.
What changes in Diablo Immortal? The Closed Beta of Diablo Immortal was well received by numerous testers. After the very sudden end, there is now a new update. The information from Blizzard shows various changes and improvements in all possible areas. This includes:
- Improvements to social features and multiplayer
- Enhanced raids
- Improvements to set items
- Revised cycle of conflict
- Improvements to world paragon
Particularly interesting are the adjustments to the raids, as many things are changing after the Reliquary of Hell was well received by players.
Raid bosses will have multiple difficulty levels
What are raids? These are huge bosses for 8 players that “require an additional level of coordination.” This simply refers to Diablo Immortal’s version of raid bosses.
The community received this feature very well, which is why Blizzard plans to deliver one boss for the Reliquary of Hell every month.
What is changing now: To optimize the raid bosses and improve progress, the raid bosses will have adjustable difficulty levels. It states:
During the beta, we received feedback that the difficulty between the bosses Lassal and Vitaath was too different. We believe that the Reliquary of Hell will remain rewarding for all players with this change, while the difference in difficulty will close for those who feel discouraged by this content.
However, Blizzard does not reveal exactly how the difficulty can be adjusted. Nevertheless, this will likely be a welcome change for numerous players who previously had issues with the difficulty and balancing of the raid bosses.
Further changes in response to community feedback
What else should be known? Additionally, there are further innovations. The new troop feature will be revised. The number of possible players will be expanded to 8.
Improvements will also be made to set items. The balance will be adjusted, and work is already underway on new set items. Blizzard is also working on changes for the PvP mode cycle of conflict. In the future, there will be clans instead of dark houses and the immortals.
The world paragon system is expected to adopt more of the MMO structure of Diablo Immortal. There will no longer be limited weekly experience, and further adjustments will be introduced.
What do you think about the announced changes? Do you agree with them? Or do you see some of them rather negatively?
