Currently, the “Hungry Moon” event is running in Diablo Immortal. For completing certain tasks, you will earn a special currency and can score some rewards. You can find all the important information on MeinMMO.
What kind of event is this? First of all: it’s a short one. You have only 2 days to complete the tasks in the game and must play on both days to catch the big fish.
In the first live event of Diablo Immortal, you will be assigned a few gameplay tasks and earn the special currency “Moon Shards” for completing them. You can exchange these for random rewards.
Once you have organized rewards seven times, you gain access to the “Favor of the Moon” with additional rewards. All information about the event can be found on MeinMMO, you can read more about the new Season 2 here.
One of the rewards of the event is a Legendary Emblem, for which you receive a Legendary Gem. You can find more about the gems in the video:

How can I participate? Log in and you’re right in the middle of it.
How long does the event run? From July 15 to July 18 (03:00 server time). In total, you have 48 hours for the tasks.
What do the tasks look like? You can find your current tasks in the menu on the left under “Events.” The tasks are divided into daily tasks and those that are online on both days.
If you want access to the “Favor of the Moon,” you must play on both days and complete all the tasks, as you need 140 Moon Shards for that.
The most challenging task for some hardcore players might be “Level up 2 times,” as this can take a while at high Paragon levels. Otherwise, the tasks can be completed quickly with a bit of grind.
What rewards can I expect? For 20 Moon Shards, you are allowed to claim a blessing and will randomly receive a reward:
- 1x Legendary Item
- 65,000 Gold
- 55,000 Gold
- 110x Scrap
- 90x Scrap
- 7x Magic Dust
- 8x Magic Dust
- 25x Candidate Keys
- 5x Glowing Shards
Once you have spun this “Wheel of Fortune” seven times, you will get the Blessing of the Moon on top:
- 1x Legendary Emblem
- 3x Rare Emblem
- 25x Candidate Keys
With the event, there’s a bit of life coming to the Diablo realm after a rather weak update for Season 2. However, the simple gameplay tasks do not promise much action.
