Diablo 4 cannot be played offline. So, when you’re out and about in Sanctuary, you frequently encounter other players. Playing in groups is fun, but playing alone also has its charm. Therefore, we want to know from you which class is the best for solo play.
In Diablo 4, there are currently five different classes that play fundamentally differently:
- Barbarians focused on melee combat and weapons
- Druids who wield nature magic and can transform
- Hunters who fight with bows, poison, and daggers
- Necromancers with their undead companions
- Wizards who use the elements for destructive magic
To help you find the right class for you, we have created a separate article as guidance: Which class suits me? An overview of all 5 classes with builds & gameplay. You can read in our article about the best classes and builds in the current endgame which advanced builds lead our tier list in the current third season.
Playing Diablo 4 alone? Vote: Which class is best suited?
Blizzard sees the shared open world as an essential feature of Diablo 4 that they do not want to give up. You always have people around you whom you can take along for dungeon runs or boss fights. Sometimes, however, you may not feel like it and just want to hack through the game alone.
We now want to know from you which class is the best for such a “solo run”? Cast your vote here:
Of course, we are also interested in why you favor this class. Feel free to write us in the comments what makes this particular class the best for you. Please also let us know if you have a specific build you favor or if there are items without which you would never want to go alone.
If you say that you always play with others, we also find that interesting. We recently reported on such a player: Players are happy about generous strangers in Diablo 4: “I get more from randoms than from my clan”
