What is Shako?
- When someone talks about Shako, they mean the Harlequin Crest. The name “Shako” comes from the designation of the item type from Diablo 2, from where the helmet originates.
- The Harlequin Crest is a unique item and is one of the rarest items in Diablo 4. It can only be found in Hellfire chests and dropped by enemies starting at level 85.
- The drop rate of the Harlequin Crest is so low that only a few of you will ever see it.
What makes Shako so good? The Harlequin Crest has fixed properties as a “Unique” that it offers you. You always receive more life, cooldown reduction, resource generation, and a bonus to all attributes. What makes Shako so desirable is the legendary effect:
- You receive 10-20% damage reduction, one of the best defensive values.
- You receive +4 ranks for all skills.
With these universally strong properties, Shako is the best helmet for almost any build in Diablo 4. As long as you don’t need another special headpiece, the Harlequin Crest is probably the item that outshines every other legendary effect for you.
