With Vessel of Hatred, a new area has been added to Diablo 4 where you can farm reputation. Here on MeinMMO, you can learn how to quickly gain skill and paragon points.
What do I need reputation for? In Diablo 4, there are six regions where you can discover a lot. By exploring the regions, “collecting” altars, and visiting dungeons, you gather reputation, or fame. You need fame to receive bonuses in the regions, which are divided into five levels per region.
Nahantu is the latest area added with Vessel of Hatred. This allows you to grab 2 additional skill points and 4 points for your paragon boards. With the points, you can complete your builds. You can find a list of the best builds in the endgame of Diablo 4 in the Tier List for Season 6.
What bonuses do I receive? In each region, there are five bonus levels that you can claim. The bonuses are the same for each region. There are bonuses that you collect anew every season and bonuses that are permanent once you have completed the regional progress once on the realm.
When do I receive the points? You receive the two skill points at levels 1 and 3 of the regional progress, the 4 paragon points at level 4, and you must have reached level 60. To collect the skill points, you need a total of 550 fame, and for the paragon points another 400 fame. We will explain how to collect them quickly below.
Complete the campaign & reveal the map
When you start the Vessel of Hatred expansion in Diablo 4 for the first time, you will be met with a new campaign. To skip it in future seasons, you have to complete it once. Either way, you should not ignore the campaign for too long as it unlocks the new mercenaries, among other things.
Additionally, during the main quests, you will explore a large part of Nahantu and unlock waypoints. For each waypoint, you receive 20 fame, and for each discovered area, 5. That may sound small, but there are a total of 58 areas – and especially with the mount, you can get through them quickly.

Lower the difficulty level
The new difficulty level system allows you to unlock up to four torment levels. The last two can be quite challenging. However, to farm reputation in Nahantu, it is advisable to lower the difficulty level. The faster you get through the content, the faster you gather reputation points.
Capture strongholds
You can secure most reputation points by capturing strongholds. For each stronghold you capture, you receive a whopping 100 points – and there are three in Nahantu. You capture strongholds by completing various tasks – such as destroying certain objects, defeating bosses, and finally activating the Shrine of the Wanderer.
Collect teachings of Akarat
In Nahantu, there are no altars of Lilith, but the teachings of Akarat. These are altars scattered across the map. Each teaching grants you 10 reputation points for your regional progress. Unlike the altars of Lilith, it is not enough to simply activate them.

Side quests
The side quests grant you 30 reputation points each, and in Nahantu, there are a total of 35 quests that you can complete on the side. This is especially convenient if you’re already exploring the area and want to take care of some small tasks.
Especially the side quests and dungeons are good for filling up reputation points that you need for a specific level of regional progress. The nice thing is that they are displayed on the map as soon as you explore the area – so you don’t even have to search for them.
Dungeons
Dungeons have been criticized since release; many players found them boring and often avoided them. Players ventured into the Nightmare variant to farm Glyph XP. With Season 6, the functionality has changed, and in Nightmare dungeons, you now gather important materials. However, the new dungeons also seem to be an improvement.
Players now praise the feature and are surprised at how well the dungeons in Nahantu have turned out. One player wanted to complete them for their regional progress but ended up being totally thrilled.
