The next beta weekend of Diablo 4 is coming up, this time for all interested players on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. You can find everything about the download and the contents of the open beta here on MeinMMO in a quick overview.
How long does the open beta last? You can join in on Friday evening, and the servers will be available until Monday evening:
- Friday, March 24, 5:00 PM – Monday, March 27, 9:00 PM
- Available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation
However, we recommend not starting directly at the release tonight. The servers were at their limits during the start of the pre-order beta last week, and the queues sometimes reached up to 2 hours. We expect the same this week.
On Saturday and Sunday, the servers were fully available and caused no issues. We had a ticker on MeinMMO.
When does the preload/download start? The preload for the Diablo beta is available. Depending on the version, you will need between 45 and 85 GB – so start the download in good time. Here you can find more information about the system requirements on PC.

What can you test? You will be able to play the entire prologue and the first act up to level 25. After that, you can complete any side quests and missions in the area of act 1, but you will not level up further. Additionally, all 5 classes from Diablo 4 will be available to you.
Dungeons are also included. You will have access to over 20 dungeons from which you can obtain special loot and legendary aspects.
Moreover, you will fight one of the world bosses at certain times, which can only be defeated by large groups of players. After the beta, there will be a wipe and you will lose all progress – you may keep only a few small items.
How does multiplayer work? In the Diablo 4 beta, all multiplayer features are already available to you. You can fight through the first act of Diablo 4 with groups of 4, and crossplay is already activated. You can see more about the multiplayer of Diablo 4 in the video:
Diablo 4 generates a lot of excitement after the first beta weekend, and many players are happy with what developer Blizzard has put together here.
