Diablo 4: The heads are talking tonight about the biggest concern of the fans – here’s how to watch it

In Diablo 4 there is currently criticism of the future plans. Especially players are complaining that the upcoming Season 1 requires unnecessary grinding. In the new Dev Stream on June 16, the creators want to talk specifically about these issues.

What concern is it about?

• To get all bonuses in Diablo 4, you have to farm renown in all areas of the game. This can take many hours.
• According to current information, this grind has to be done again for Season 1. This disheartens players and dampens the excitement for the season.
• Some of the more prominent voices from the community, like the MMO streamer Asmongold, even say: “I won’t play more than Season 1.“

When and where is the stream? On Friday, June 16 at 8:00 PM German time (11 AM PDT) there will be a new Dev Stream on the topic – as the first “Campfire Chat”. There, Diablo boss Rod Fergusson, Game Director Joe Shely, Associate Production Director Tiffany Wat, and Community Head Adam Fletcher will discuss various topics.

The stream will take place on both YouTube and Twitch:

• to the Diablo Twitch channel

As Fergusson already hinted in a tweet, one of the topics will be the renown grind. However, the stream will generally be about the future of Diablo 4.

Dev Stream on June 16 – More about Season 1

We already know that Season 1 is expected to be released in mid to late July. The fundamental ideas behind the seasons have already been presented:

• there will be a Battle Pass with cosmetic rewards and boosts
• a special season mechanic is supposed to provide variation
• new legendaries are coming into the game
• a story is to be told that is detached from the main story – the latter will continue in expansions
• season characters will become regular, “eternal” characters after the season
