The first beta test of Diablo 4 will end soon, with the second yet to come. MeinMMO explains what you can keep from your progress. Is it worth playing at all?
You can keep this: When the pre-order beta ends on March 20 at 8:00 PM, you will initially keep all your progress until the weekend of the open beta. The open beta starts on March 24 at 5:00 PM and runs until March 27 at 9:00 PM.
After the open beta, there will be a wipe. Everything you have earned will be lost: level, legendaries, and any progress you have made in the story and world. At release in June, all players will have to start from scratch.
Nevertheless, it is worth playing the beta. Because even if you cannot “take” anything in the strict sense, you will receive a reward for playing.

Gift in Diablo 4 if you play the beta
This is what you get for playing: Those who play the open beta of Diablo 4 can secure several rewards for the final game. Depending on how far you get, you will receive:
- Cosmetic: Wolf Pack – Reach level 20
- Title: First Victim – Upon reaching Kyovashad
- Title: Early Explorer – Reach level 20
However, these rewards are not available immediately. Even if you reach level 20, you will not receive a wolf pup in the beta. The titles and transmogs will be unlocked for your account only with the release in June.
Is it worth it for other reasons? Apart from the cosmetics, you will already get an early look at the game through the beta and can better decide if you want to buy Diablo 4. Here you can find the information on the editions of Diablo 4.
The beta is explicitly a test. Accordingly, there may be errors and server problems, and many contents are not finished yet. It is already known that the localization is not complete. Some portions are still purely in English, the German translation will come later.
