Today, on June 8th, there are issues with the servers of Diablo 4. They have been intermittently unreachable. This results in long queues where players are currently stuck.
What is happening today in Diablo 4? A hotfix was released today that made changes to dungeons, world bosses, and an XP trick. However, since the release, there have been ongoing issues and brief server downtimes.
Some players report queue times over 30 minutes (via reddit). The message “Connecting to the Diablo IV services” also appears, sometimes causing the game to freeze right at that point.
What is the current status? At 11:50 PM, the servers are still problematic, with more and more players reporting they can now log in. Many are still stuck in the queue, and some are still experiencing error messages.
The problems affect both the servers in Europe and America.
What is behind error 300202? “An error occurred while logging in (Code 300202).” This is a message indicating that you cannot access the servers with your character.
It has primarily occurred on PlayStation and Xbox. It is now also appearing on PC, as well as code 1016.
A solution for the problem is updating graphics drivers, relogging, or checking your internet connection. However, the error message today is likely mainly due to the server crashes. We will keep you updated here.
What does Blizzard say? Blizzard has also recently added a note in BattleNet. It states:
We are currently investigating reports of login issues with Diablo IV and are working to resolve them as soon as possible.
