With the new season in Diablo 4, leveling new seasonal characters is also on the agenda. A farming spot is particularly well-suited for this. On MeinMMO, you can find out what it’s all about.
Regarding the farming spot, we are talking about the Arcane Tremors, which have come into play with Season 3 in Diablo 4. These areas are excellent for quick leveling and also offer a lot of loot. An expert has described in a video why these spots are so good for farming.
Who is the expert? It is Rob2628, known for his expertise in Diablo 4, who regularly provides players with videos and streams. With his OP build, he completed Zirs Butchery as a Druid in a 4-player team in under 3 minutes.
In his YouTube video from January 23, he describes the best farming spot, which is said to offer “infinite loot and experience” and is comparable to the blood harvest from Season 2.
The best farming spot in Season 3: Arcane Tremors
What kind of spot is this? The Arcane Tremors were introduced in Season 3. You can recognize them by the green symbols on the map. Once you enter the areas where the tremors occur, additional symbols marked with a leaf will be displayed on the map: obelisks and fire bowls. You will run between these alternately.
How does the farming work?
- You collect elemental cores and shattered stones at the obelisks in the area
- With the materials, you summon the “Herald of Malphas” at the fire bowl
- You need 3 cores and 50 stones per run
- During this, you collect XP and loot
- You repeat the process as often as you want and can
To trigger the event at the fire bowls, you need elemental cores and shattered stones. You can obtain the stones as drops from various enemies and in some chests. You can get elemental cores at the obelisks.
When you approach the obelisk, mobs and area damage await you. To receive the elemental cores, you need to interact with the obelisk. Since patch 1.3.0a, however, you will no longer be pushed back there, making it easier for you to reach the cores lying on the ground.

Once you have collected enough materials, activate the fire bowl. This will spawn several mobs and ultimately the “Herald of Malphas.” The elite enemy drops a legendary item starting from level 26 – with a 15% chance of a second one.
Farming is especially worthwhile with multiple players, as materials can be shared. You can basically keep doing this until you run out of materials. By the way, you will be notified when a “Herald of Malphas” has been summoned in the area, even if it happens at another fire bowl. It will then blink on the map.
It’s best to go out with a group right away or find a spot where several players are already present. With more players, there’s additional XP. Don’t forget to pop an elixir.
If nothing is happening, you can also hop through the phases .
To do this, go back to town or briefly to another area and then return. You should then be in a different instance of the area.
Are there other events? In the areas with the Arcane Tremors, additional random, smaller events appear. You can recognize these by the squares when you are nearby. One is called “Connection of the Lightning.”
Once you interact with the pillar, several mobs will spawn. Despite many enemies and area damage, you must stay within the red circle. At the end, the red circle will disappear, and three elite enemies will spawn.

You will earn even more XP if you combine the Arcane Tremors with the tasks for the Tree of Whispers and pick up a chest at the tree. Additionally, you’ll get materials needed for other activities in Diablo 4. However, you must be in the area where the seasonal Whisper tasks are and pause the farming in between to submit items.
