Today, Diablo 4 officially launches. MeinMMO accompanies the release with a live ticker and tells you everything you need to know about the launch, time, and more.
When can you play Diablo 4?
- The release time is on the night of June 5 to June 6 at 01:00 AM German time. From then on, anyone who purchased Diablo 4 can play.
- If you still need to download Diablo 4, you need roughly 90 GB of free space – or 50 if you don’t download the HD textures or play on PS4/Xbox One. Here you can find information about the system requirements for Diablo 4.
- The servers start simultaneously worldwide and for all platforms: PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Diablo 4 also supports full crossplay.

Meanwhile, there are small queues of about a minute if you want to log in. Additionally, players reporting the license issue claim to have lost all their progress from early access. However, it’s likely just a display error like before with Diablo 2.
It is likely the issue will be fixed soon.

Also, a quarter of an hour after release, there are only a few problems. However, players on PS5 apparently struggle again with the same issue as during early access: no license found.
It appears there are also difficulties on other platforms. A restart should help.

In Berlin, a large live event is taking place for the release, where Blizzard has set up a statue of Lilith and invited fans. We have someone from the community on-site:
Is there a chance of problems? Probably not. From June 2, pre-order customers can play and on release night, there were practically no server issues. Only players on PS5 could not log in due to a license error, which has since been fixed.
Many fans praised the release as the best in Blizzard’s history, and generally as the best release in recent times, especially since there are also very few bugs. Players are excited: after the botched PC releases of late, Diablo 4 is a refreshing change.
Today, the rush is expected to be even greater, which is why there may be queues. We will keep you updated live here.
