Why are players arguing about gold? Season 4 in Diablo has started and shortly after the start, there are discussions in a Reddit thread about players having too little gold. Also, our colleague Benedict has already complained that he is experiencing significant gold problems this season.
Players mainly complain that potions, endgame crafting, and catch-up gear have become incredibly expensive. However, others find the changes positive: They believe that in the old seasons, gold was so readily available that it hardly mattered. Now, it feels like it has some value.
