On May 14, Season 4 launched in Diablo 4, and players prepared for it in various ways. One player showcases their gift in preparation for the “big day” on Reddit and receives excitement – but also funny questions.
There are different ways for players to prepare for the start of the new season in Diablo 4. Some collected the last Lilith altars on the map, while others tried to secure the secret seasonal title.
On Reddit, one player shows off their gift box, which they received from their wife in preparation for the season start. This way, they could sweeten the wait, which turned out to be longer than one might have planned.
Season 4 truly shakes up Diablo 4. In the video, you get a brief glimpse:
What was in the gift? On Reddit, user “Sandraptor” presents the gift they received for the start of the new season in Diablo 4. In the title of the post, they write: “My wife got me a box of goodies for the big day (she’s the best).”
On the readable part of the card, which was apparently part of the gift, it essentially says:
Hey! Happy Diablo Day! In this box, you will find some goodies. Not included in this box is lunch of your choice, in celebration of the day. Also, keep an eye out for the little messages on all parts of your Diablo Day snack box.
“What affixes did the engagement ring have?”
How does the community react? The comment with the most upvotes comes from “thereal_pizzaguy.” They write on Reddit: “That’s so sweet. Is your wife single by any chance?” Others ask if she happens to have a twin or even a clone.
“achipinthesugar” writes on Reddit: “Please link the build of your marriage.” And “Mud_Landry” asks on Reddit: “What affixes did you put on her engagement ring? Sounds like you’ve finished farming for a wife.” In a Reddit comment, “Scoutn” notes: “You found an Uber Unique in real life. Nice!”
In the comment, someone points out that the brownies are “not even baked”. To this, Sandraptor writes on Reddit: “The sticker on the brownies states that she makes them anytime I want. The great thing is, she did the exact same thing last year at the launch. I’m a lucky guy.”
Other players had a harder time truly enjoying Diablo 4 than the user on Reddit. They had to prepare very well and plan their approach – but not with sweets in this case.
One user even asked an AI for help at the release of Diablo 4 to convince his wife that he could play the game at launch. The response he received was actually quite good. But the community addresses a completely different aspect.
