The mouse click is one of the most common actions that PC players perform in Diablo 4. A player has now noticed that he is making too much work for himself and does not need to click as much as he thought.
In Diablo 4, PC players click to move, interact with objects, and fight enemies – as long as they haven’t changed the key bindings. There are various skills that can be mapped to the mouse buttons.
A PC player noticed after 17 hours of gameplay in Diablo 4 that he clicks far too often. He could actually save some clicks with his huntress build. On Reddit, he asks what obvious things other players only figured out late. Many can reassure him by sharing their “follies. “
With each season, new features await the players of Diablo 4, which also raise questions. This is probably the case in the first expansion “Vessel of Hatred,” which will be released on October 8:
Why is the player clicking too much? The user “jewbacca7777” reports on Reddit that after 17 hours of gameplay he discovered something related to his Huntress’ Heartseeker build. He clicks far too often on the mouse button – and he doesn’t have to:
I have been playing Diablo 4 for a while now and decided to take a break from my Bash Barb and level up a Huntress. […] I clicked like crazy for three days, arrow by arrow.
Then, at level 95 – after 17 damn hours of gameplay – I discover something that would make any reasonable person facepalm. You can simply hold down the left mouse button! Yes, all this time I had been clicking like crazy for every single Heartseeker arrow, and I could have just… held [the button] down. One click. Done.
What the hell, man? What am I risking carpal tunnel syndrome for?
He asks the community if “anyone else figured out a stupid, obvious thing much too late.” Indeed, many can reassure him with their comments, sharing their own experiences and oversights.
The Heartseeker build of the Huntress is currently at the top of the tier list for the strongest builds in the endgame of season 4:
“I learned that now”
What have the other players done? The top comment with over 500 upvotes comes from “Pernpiotr.” He writes: “Don’t feel bad. I just found out that you can reset dungeons. I always restarted my game when I wanted to summon a boss again.” And “HarmonyinSilence” even walked to the exit of the dungeon every time instead of simply teleporting out via the emote wheel.
To resummon bosses, you need to reset the dungeon via the map. It’s also necessary to leave the dungeon, which can be particularly bothersome in group play. With Season 5, the developers are changing the mechanics – and that seems to please many players.
“VerbalHologram777” writes: “It’s all good, man, after 2 chars with glyphs at max level and hours of galloping across the map, I just found out that you can teleport directly to nightmare dungeons.”
The user “JustTooGinger” seems to be able to help others who are surprised with his tip. He writes: “I just learned after 4 seasons that you can right-click on your glyphs to immediately increase the level […].” To which “jagoble” responds: “Thanks. I learned that now.”
And “warden182” admits: “I didn’t know that you can replace the aspects of legendaries until I was about level 85 in this season.” The user “BatDad488” has only now discovered that you can rotate paragon boards. “I’m level 100 and have played most seasons,” he notes.
Another player recently found out that he can save unnecessary trips into the pit. The pit is a new endgame activity that was added in Season 4 of Diablo 4, where you can get important crafting mats. The player has now realized that he is making unnecessarily many runs to farm the mats. He didn’t know a simple mechanic.
