In Diablo 4 there is a boss fight that many players consider to be the hardest of all. One player has now proven that nothing is impossible and has defeated the boss with his unusual strategy – by switching equipment during the fight.
What kind of boss fight is this? This is the boss fight against Lilith. However, this is not the Lilith from the campaign, but her echo. Her second incarnation on World Tier 4, which can only be defeated by the most hardcore players among you.
While many players avoid the boss without the proper build, Reddit user Moist_Reply_4955 faced the fight with his sorceress and completed it with an unusual strategy.

Equipment causes massive damage, but only after switching
How did the fight go? Moist_Reply_4955 entered Lilith’s arena with his level 100 sorceress and the notorious Blizzard build. First, numerous blizzards are created around Lilith’s spawn point. The mother of Sanctuary is thus engulfed in a hail of ice balls, but the damage dealt leaves much to be desired until Lilith is stunned.

At this point, Moist_Reply_4955 opens his inventory and switches quickly to another staff. This now deals damage in the millions while Lilith tries to recover. The damage is so massive that Lilith cannot get up and is forced to transition into the second boss phase.
The second boss phase is also always about stunning Lilith, switching weapons, and then dealing massive damage. What looks easy in the video is actually a very risky endeavor, as switching to other items takes time – and this time can determine life or death.
Many on Reddit are excited about the strategy that Moist_Reply_4955 has developed, because it is already known that on console this would be nearly impossible.
What do players say about this impressive feat? Some players find it crazy how Moist accomplished the fight with such a strategy. However, there are also players who think it is impossible, especially on console:

However, there are also players who see item swapping as problematic. This tactic is regarded as unfair since it gives a player an advantage over other platforms by handling items and aspects quickly.
