- The tooltip description for the Qax rune has been refined to better describe its function.

Dark Citadel
- A bug has been fixed that caused players to get stuck during the encounter with Faeroch outside the labyrinth.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the incense of steadfastness and roaring wind not to persist after death.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed the bosses Vorshok and Hurstt to target players who were in stealth.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed players to resurrect infinitely with scrolls of generosity during impending doom.
- A bug has been fixed that caused loot to disappear when returning through a group member’s portal.
Miscellaneous
- A bug has been fixed that allowed witch powers to be altered during a run through the undercity of Kurast.
- A bug has been fixed, which caused the description for resolute tribute to not inform players that it affects all players.
- A bug has been fixed that listed the Qua rune as a rare rune at the jewel smith, even though it belongs to the magical runes.
- A bug has been fixed which prevented the achievement “Mercenary Commander” from being awarded when playing on console if it was first achieved on PC.
- A bug has been fixed, which caused the hardening of a glaive or a staff not to count for the achievement “Effective Changes”.

Game Updates
Season of Witch Power
- The appearance rate for forgotten altars has been increased.
- More ravens of the tree now appear in headhunting zones. Rumor has it that the area is now even less friendly.
- Additional elements for tracking headhunting progress have been added to the user interface.
- Two new whisper bounties have been added.
- New icons have been added for headhunting for visual differentiation.
- All existing user interface elements have been overhauled to better highlight activity progress as well as key points and notable monster locations.
- An additional element has been added to the user interface for tracking the progress of summoning the headfoul bosses.
Armory
- A new button has been added to easily delete loadouts.
- Various further updates to the overall user experience with the armory.
- The locations of the armories in several cities have been redesigned for easier interactions.
Fixed Bugs
Accessibility
- A bug has been fixed that caused the screen reader not to work properly in the witch powers tab.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the screen reader to not read some symbols in the group finder menu.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the screen reader not to read the names of trade and clan chats.
- Several bugs which caused the screen reader not to function properly in the windows for the armory, wardrobe, and witch power have been fixed.
Season of Witch Power
Witch Powers
- A bug has been fixed that caused the return of the damnation sphere to the player to take longer than expected when the target of the sphere died while it was on the way.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented learned grimoires received after the first one from being consumed or removed from the inventory.
Developer’s Comment: They can now be sold at vendors to make space in the inventory.
- A bug has been fixed that incorrectly mentioned base damage in the tooltip for the decay increase, although it should only mention “damage”.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented aura of lamentation from triggering in conjunction with some other powers like breath of the circle.
- A bug has been fixed that did not unlock the power in the witch power tab when learning a forgotten power from a forgotten altar.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented firebat servants from triggering a hex whisper.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed the graphic effect for life bond to spread over more than 3 opponents.
- A bug has been fixed that caused vengeful spirit to not disappear when removing the corresponding witch power.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented some witch powers from displaying correctly in the fields of hatred.
- A bug has been fixed that could cause errors when switching between witch power tabs while browsing inventory with a controller.
- A bug has been fixed that caused firebat servants to appear every 2 seconds instead of every 3 seconds.
- A bug has been fixed that caused primal binding, the passive skill for sorcerers, to not function with any witch power that had the label “summon”.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed the growth type power to let summoned servants grow multiple times when zone-switching. (No one could rival the golem muscle-bound.)
Headhunting and Whispers
- A bug has been fixed that caused the circle to disappear during the removal whisper bounty before all relevant enemies were defeated.
- A bug has been fixed that caused will-o’-the-wisps not to fully appear during the whisper bounty of the same name if the whisper was previously completed with 10 gruesome gifts.
- A bug has been fixed that caused elite monsters to appear near seeker frogs and that overgrown villagers fled from the player when they first appeared.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed large cocoons to block projectiles.
- A bug has been fixed that caused enemies to appear in the town Hinterpfuhl when a headhunting activity was active in that area.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the whisper bounty for lost will-o’-the-wisps not to be completed if all monsters associated with the will-o’-the-wisp were killed at the same time at the end of the encounter.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented exposed roots from appearing upon completion of a removal whisper bounty.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed cleansing cauldrons associated with the cleansing whisper to disappear too early.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented interaction with the raven of the tree when teleporting to the whispering tree and back.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the radius on the map between headhunting regions to be inconsistent when hovering the cursor over the seeking whisper.
- A rare bug has been fixed that caused an excessive number of monsters to appear in headhunting zones.
Root Hides
- A bug has been fixed that allowed exposed roots to block projectiles while transforming into cocoons.
- A bug has been fixed that did not mention in the tooltip for the ritual of futility that the boss is unstoppable.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the use of the last resurrection in a group, while still having several other members dead, to prevent the last resurrected player from re-entering the boss arena.
- A bug has been fixed that caused players to not land directly in front of the root hide when leaving a root hide, but in the quiet house.
- A bug has been fixed that could freeze the game if the player died while the game window was not open and no resurrections were left.
- A bug has been fixed that caused reprobate slaves of decay to sometimes not attack the player up close.
- A bug has been fixed that did not display the rite of torn flesh as active.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed the ticking clock ceremony to cause players to trigger their own crits against themselves.
Occult Gems
- Multiple issues have been fixed that caused the occult gem dust stone to not function properly.
- A bug has been fixed that incorrectly stated in the tooltip for the occult gem elder seal that it is used with corporeal beings instead of potency skills.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the occult gem abhorrent phylactery to double values when a witch power was equipped.

- A bug has been fixed that caused the effect of moonlight protection to not immediately activate when the occult gem was equipped.
Seasonal Quest Line
- A bug has been fixed that caused Ouna not to follow the player into the boss fight in the quest “A Friend in Need”.
- A bug has been fixed that caused certain quest objectives to indicate the wrong root hides.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the quest “Whispers in the Wind” to be automatically tracked when other quests were completed.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the enraged headless husk in the quest “Oaths and Debts” to have too much health.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented the headless husk bosses in the quest “Oaths and Debts” from dealing damage to the player when standing in certain positions.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the headless husk boss to get stuck in certain locations.
- A bug has been fixed that prevented the seasonal journey objectives, to increase reputation with the circle, from being completed when skipping a certain rank.
Developer’s Comment: All players affected by this will now complete all previously missed seasonal journey objectives when reaching a new reputation rank in the favor of the circle. We are currently looking for a solution to allow players who already have the maximum reputation with the circle to complete the missed objectives when the repeatable reputation rank 20 in the favor of the circle is reached.
Armory
- A bug has been fixed that allowed the armory in some cases to load sorcerer enchantments that were not unlocked.
- Several improvements to missing or faulty icons and texts.
Gameplay
- A bug has been fixed that caused the legendary paragon node bonebreaker to not stack as quickly as intended when switching weapons.
- A bug has been fixed that caused elite monsters to not drop druid offerings.
- A bug has been fixed that caused “elemental synergies” not to update when a familiar changed elements.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the tooltips of the paragon nodes for the damage of the necromancer’s servant to not display the correct values that they receive after modification by the deadriser glyph.
- A bug has been fixed that caused rank 5 of berserker’s wrath to push back opponents, but not always pull them toward the player.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed obscuring to grant immunity against poison pools and explosions.
- A bug has been fixed that caused shadow touch snipers and decapitator skills in cities and on mounts not to grant the correct bonus skill ranks.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the affix on the mortacrux, which grants shorn flesh X % maximum life, to not increase through completion.
- A bug has been fixed that allowed players to move while channeling tear.
- A rare bug has been fixed that caused switching mounts in certain locations to teleport the player to random places.
- A bug has been fixed that caused elemental totems in nightmare dungeons to not be targetable.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the incense “Scents of the Desert” to grant 80 thorns instead of 400 thorns.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the chaos gathering rewards of the whispering tree to only drop one type of gear, although there were supposed to be different types.
- A bug has been fixed that caused screaming hell veins on torment levels III and IV not to guarantee forgotten souls.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the effect of a deadly shrine to also affect thorn damage.
- A bug has been fixed that caused players to get stuck if they were constantly trying to move on a crossing.

User Interface and User Experience
- A bug has been fixed that caused the tooltip for Okun’s Catalyst to contain an unnecessary [x] in the description of the power.
- A bug has been fixed that caused forgotten altars to be referred to as lost altars in certain cases.
- A bug has been fixed that made it difficult to pick up loot dropped on boss-summoning altars when playing with a controller.
- Several bugs have been fixed that caused the “New Item Available” symbol to appear in some instances when it should not have appeared and to not appear when it should have.
- A rare bug has been fixed that caused the wardrobe in local multiplayer mode to not respond.
- A bug has been fixed that could freeze the game if “Leave Dungeon” was used to exit the icy cellar during the prologue.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the tooltip for permafrost, the passive skill for sorcerers, to only state that frost skill damage is increased, although all sources of damage are actually increased.
- A bug has been fixed that made the word “Greater” not display during larger material gathers.
- A bug has been fixed that caused herbs to still appear interactable after harvesting them.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the elemental totem nightmare dungeon affix to be displayed as elemental thorn.
