New unique items and legendary aspects
New unique items and legendary aspects have been discovered in Sanctuary. Use them to improve your characters in the eternal or seasonal realm. You will find these unique items starting from World Tier IV. The legendary aspects can be found at every world tier.
6 Unique Items
General
- Ahavarion, Staff of Lycander (super-unique staff – World Tier 4): After killing an elite enemy, you gain a random shrine effect for 10–20 seconds. Can only occur once every 30 seconds.
Developer Comment: Ahavarion, Staff of Lycander, will drop extremely rarely. We wish you good luck in taking it from the armies of the Burning Hells.
Barbarian
- Blauzorn (unique sword): Lucky shot – your core skills have a chance of up to 20% to freeze enemies for 3 seconds and deal 0.75–1.5 cold damage.
Druid
- Meat Grinder (unique one-handed mace): Weakening Roar and Blood Howl deal 0.5–1.0 damage to poisoned enemies nearby.
Necromancer
- Blind Wall (unique shield): Lucky shot – if you have an active Bone Storm and hit an unaffected enemy, there’s a 5–25% chance that an additional Bone Storm will appear at their location. Each of your active victim bonuses increases this chance by 25% and the maximum number of additional Bone Storms by +1.
Hunter
- Eagle Horn (unique bow): Penetrating Shot has a 30–80% chance to fire an arrow that ricochets off walls and the environment. If you hit enemies with Penetrating Shot from behind, they will be vulnerable for 3 seconds.
Wizard
- The Oculus (unique wand): You gain the effect of the Teleportation enchantment for free. When you use Escape with the Teleportation enchantment, you arrive at a random location.
Developer Comment: The unique items Blauzorn and Meat Grinder have flat damage effects that scale with power. For example: With an item power of 820, Blauzorn deals 3359–6718 damage.
7 New Legendary Aspects
General
- Fearlessness (versatile aspect): If at least 5 enemies are near you, you stun them for 2–4 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 20 seconds.
- Cowardice (mobility aspect): You gain 20–40% more movement speed when moving away from slowed or frozen enemies.
Barbarian
- Ancestor Storm (offensive aspect): Charge summons 4 ancestors that also use Charge with 50–100% of the normal damage.
Druid
- Subterranean (offensive aspect): The active skill of Poison Vine also applies Landslide in a circle around you. Earth skills deal 10–20% more damage to poisoned enemies.
Necromancer
- Blood Spikes (offensive aspect): Blood Spear consumes blood orbs which also summon spears. Each additional Blood Spear deals 20–50% of the normal damage and does not prioritize impaled enemies.
Hunter
- Plague Tips (offensive aspect): Every third use of Stab has a poison infusion with 100–150% of the normal strength.
Wizard
- Burning Shield (offensive aspect): After consuming 200–100 Mana, your next Firewall is free and destroys small projectiles.
Fixed Bugs
Accessibility
- Diverse improvements made to accessibility, primarily fixes to the screenreader that could not read certain elements.
Challenges
- Fixed bugs where certain challenges did not provide the correct rewards or could not be completed.
- Fixed bugs where progress in certain challenges could not be made with unintended means.
- Fixed bugs where players could progress in certain challenges through actions of other players nearby.
- Fixed bugs where activities that should count towards some challenges were not counted.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from being notified when one of their friends completed a challenge.
- Fixed a bug where deeds were not counted towards the completion of a challenge.
- The deed Ultimate Butcher of the First Mother now requires you to solo kill the last boss at level 100. The challenge “Silence is Hell” remains unchanged.
- Fixed a bug where the deeds “Among the First” and “First Experiences” did not display all titles they granted.
Co-op Mode
- Fixed a bug where the camera did not function correctly when players were far apart in local co-op.
- Fixed a bug where NPC dialogue boxes overlapped when multiple players spoke to the same NPC in local co-op.
- Fixed a bug where the Inner Eye of the Hunter was only filled for one of the players in a co-op session.
- Fixed a bug where the challenge “Dark Potential” was granted to both players regardless of the progress of the other player when one of the players completed it.
- Fixed bugs where quest progress was not properly synchronized or could be blocked for local co-op players.
- Fixed bugs that occurred during cutscenes for co-op players.
