Patch 1.1.4 is coming on September 12 and brings some important changes for Diablo 4. Among other things, a few bugs in quests will be fixed, and the patch also includes an increase in the XP bonus. What you can expect in the patch notes can be found in our overview.
What will Patch 1.1.4 adjust? The patch mainly addresses bugged quests, as well as voice-over lines and an error message about a full inventory. Additionally, it comes with a significant increase in the seasonal quest XP bonus.
When will Patch 1.1.4 be released? The patch is expected to be released on September 12. However, Blizzard will already announce the full patch notes.
Patch Notes 1.1.4 Overview
Here are the most important changes:
Gameplay Updates
- The overall XP bonus for the seasonal blessing of the “Urn of Aggression” has been increased from 8% to 20%.
Quests and Events
- A bug has been fixed that prevented the items “Lorath’s Spear Weapon” and “Strange Amulet” from being picked up after dropping them and re-entering the city via mount in the quest “Missing Parts”.
- A bug has been fixed that could block progression in the quest “In Thoughts with the Goose” when the player teleported through the town portal or exited the game immediately after placing Tavish’s dagger.
- A bug has been fixed that could block progression in the quest “Poisoned Hearts” when the player left the area during Aneta’s dialogue with Vera.
- A bug has been fixed that resulted in the event “Choking Mass” not being rewarded with gold.
Miscellaneous
- A bug has been fixed that caused a dialogue option for Kres not to display correctly.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the percentage for completing the seasonal quest in the seasonal menu to display the progress of the last viewed chapter instead of the active chapter.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the notification that the inventory is full to appear unexpectedly.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the completion of a seasonal quest objective in the Tunnels of Malice to not yield points if the heart was not captured at the end.
- A bug has been fixed that caused the voice-over lines for the following taunt emotes not to play:
- I will destroy you!
- You will die!
- I will rip your soul apart!
- Die!
- Your doom awaits!
- Various visual, performance, and stability improvements.
