In Season 7 of Diablo 4, there are new gems that you can socket into your items. How to obtain the Occult Gems and how they work can be found here on MeinMMO.
What are Occult Gems? Occult Gems are the new socketable gems in Season 7 of Diablo 4. The gems grant you additional affixes and complement the witch powers – the new seasonal mechanic. Each gem gives you an additional 160 armor and 8% resistance to all damage types.
Where can I get Occult Gems? According to Blizzard, you can craft the Occult Gems at the “Whispering Tree” with the NPC Gelena. She crafts the gems in exchange for the following items:
- “Fleeting Heads,” which you receive from special seasonal enemies, the “Head Rotters”
- “Restless Rot,” which is essentially the reputation in Season 7 – collected through Whisper tasks and killing “Head Rotters”
- Gem fragments
As of now (January 14, 2025), there are a total of 19 Occult Gems in Season 7. Below, we list all the gems along with their functions.
