Diablo 4 received another patch on the night of June 12. Some dungeons are again getting modifications, and bosses that block your path to higher world tiers will become tougher. MeinMMO shows you the patch notes in German.
The patch notes in German – What was changed? Blizzard has listed the patch notes for hotfix 8 on the forum. We translate them for you:
- Boss adjustments
- The Curator (one of the “Capstone” bosses) no longer disappears with one of its abilities.
- The fight against “Pinnacle Boss” for level 100 now continues as planned; there was a bug here.
- A bug was fixed that prevented bosses in end-dungeons (“Capstone” dungeons) from targeting players.
- PvP
- A bug was fixed that caused damage reduction to stack with other effects, leading to “false expectations.”
- Dungeons
- The spawn rate of elite enemies in some dungeons has been adjusted again. This has occurred in a previous patch.
- A bug was fixed that caused players who failed a Nightmare dungeon to spawn in a different instance of another dungeon.
- A bug was fixed that allowed players to receive rewards for a Nightmare dungeon by completing a regular dungeon.
- Items
- Items that were not supposed to drop at lower world tiers no longer drop there.
All mentioned issues are bugs that have been fixed. Additionally, there were further bug fixes and improvements. The two items for the Whirlwind Barbarian build are still deactivated as of now.
Adjustment to Dungeons – What does this mean for me?
With the boss adjustments, the “Capstone” dungeons should now become harder. These are dungeons that you must complete to reach higher world tiers.
Since you do not have access to better items beforehand, the dungeons are considered a challenge and are meant to test how well you are familiar with your class and build. The spawn rate of elite enemies in dungeons will likely affect the decline of the Champion and Anica’s claim, two of the dungeons that are best suited for farming. They are considered the most popular places to obtain legendaries and more.

How exactly the adjustment looks has not been revealed. Last time, hardly anything changed, which is why the two dungeons still represent the best opportunities for farming. They will likely remain so for a while.
